For the last five years, I've facilitated and run the critique service End Results for the Coeur du Bois Chapter of Romance Writers of America. Additionally, I served on the board for Popular Fiction Association of Idaho and was a final judge for the Bloody Pen award for three years. Since 2012 I've been a first and final round judge for Elisa Rolle's international Rainbow Awards.
I hold an Associates degree in English from BYU-Idaho and a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication from Kaplan University, where I graduated on the honor roll.
Since 2003, I've provided content editing and proofreading for independent
authors, covering a variety of fiction genres including romance (all sub
genres), young adult, mystery, speculative (Sci/Fi and Paranormal) and historical fiction.
From 2004 - 2009, I was head editor for a nationally distributed, monthly newsletter on writing and the publishing industry.
Since 2000, I have provided business editing for non-profit and corporations,
including annual reports, policy and procedure manuals, training material, web
content, business blogs and newsletters.
